I changed a couple of things in this picture. I had to redo the background because I did something wrong with the layers. I made the figure smaller and the note she's hanging onto. I made her shadow going the right direction. Some people didn't like the shadow on the sheet music but I really like the way it looks. I added a couple more notes so the figure wasn't by itself floating away. Oh! And the gradient of the background.
nice change... it really makes you a clearer element of what's going on... I would say it makes a much stronger visual metaphor of, maybe, getting carried away in a song, whereas before, it looked like you were just hanging on a single note. I think that the shadow could go either way, and personally I would have made an exact replica of the figure's outline and then made that into the shadow, but your approach works well. Nice.
PS it looks, in my opinion, like you are wrong when you say "I am not too good at computer art" in your "about me"... seems to me that you have a knack for it.
Welcome to the blog I created for my ARTE 250 class. Pretty much everything in here will be for/about my Technology class. So lots of weird computer stuff. YAY!
Hmmm . . . I don't know what to tell about myself. I'm not to good at computer art or photo rendering but hopefully there will be a gradual improvement seen in the "art" I post here.
Oh! And check out the bottom of my page. I'll be showing random artwork by my friends.

Nice.
The changes you made work so much better. You get the feeling of flying. The shadow has the feeling that you are higher up.
